Find duplicate photos in iPhoto based on photo MD5 or Title

This project came about because I was unimpressed by the absolute horribleness of iPhoto duplicate photo searching options. The only thing I could find was a 10$ app called Duplicate Annihilator which is extremely slow and has no caching mechanism. So I checked into it and realized the iPhoto uses a simple SQLite3 DB. I wrote my own PHP script to do what I wanted faster and better than the paid-for apps. I hope this helps you too. This is a simple PHP script that will interface directly with the iPhoto "09 SQLite3 database and search for duplicate picture titles (titles equal filenames by default…) and/or create an MD5 of each file, cached into a separate DB for both necessity and efficiency purposes and search for duplicate MD5s.
