Simplicity is the key in Bananapress. An alternative to wordpress, this is a super bare-bones and basic blog / CMS platform that can be customized and modified to your liking. If you aren"t so computer-literate, it comes ready to write posts out of the zip.
REQUIREMENTS:
For Bananapress to be installed properly, you need a server with:
Apache 2.2 or higher
PHP 5.2 or higher
MySQL 5.5 or higher
INSTALLATION:
Unzip the bananapress_x-x.zip folder. Move the contents of the folder into the desired folder for installation.
Open the folder in your web browser and follow the installation instructions. NOTE: YOU MUST CREATE A NEW DATABASE FOR THE INSTALL TO WORK
