The project incorporates an ASP.Net MVC3 web application with a simple CRUD interface for maintaining the data in the SQL Azure database.
The second part of the project is implemented using the Windows Phone 7.1 SDK. The windows Phone application uses a WCF Web service to access the database through the Entity Framework and display the list of upcoming Gigs. The phone can also be used to narrow down the criteria by only displaying Gigs from a particular genre.
The ASP.Net and WCF web service are deployed on the Azure cloud.
