Apathy - A suite of programs for examining and repairing corrupted PCM-encoded .wav files.
Apathy is intended to make audio file recovery easy and fast for professional crime scene investigators (CSI). Apathy is entirely open-source, is written using open-source development tools and uses open-source libraries exclusively.
Apathy suite is now available for download from the "downloads" page. It took some fiddling to get the whole thing to fit under the 20.0mb filesize limitation, but both Win32 executables and source code for the GUI and command-line backend are available in one 7zip archive.
NOTE: For users planning on compiling the suite themselves: compiled executables must follow a strict naming convention. A README for builders will be available in the next release with instructions. For now, observe the names of the Win32 binaries and compile with filenames to match those.
