Recently, internet technology has been developed rapidly and spread all over the world. Many stand-alone application systems are gradually evolved into web-based systems. However, the new requirements for a web system come more frequently than those for a stand-along application. The maintainers would add or update functions rapidly for the web systems, and then make the systems become more heavy, complex, less structured, and hard to maintain. As a result, the systems would be less stable and less quality. So the features of the development of the two kinds of systems (web and stand-along) are different. The development of web systems should emphasize more on the independence, scalability and reusability of components of systems in order to reduce the cost on maintenance. This paper presents a lightweight web framework with ease of usage and high performance to try to resolve these issues.
