MindTarget SQLBang is a set of software tools that allows a programmer to think about an application design and then using a few check boxes and form entries generate the code based on the design.
MindTarget’s SQLBang (SQL!) is a middle layer programming tool. Page design and intellisense code editors are outer layer programming tools. As a middle layer programming tool, SQL! allows the code application designer (CAD) to generate syntax and semantic correct code based on a wide profile.
Operationally, SQLBang retrieves DDL for tables, views and stored procedures from Microsoft SQL server and generates ColdFusion code.
The primary design interface is a spread sheet style table based on SQL database table and views. The code designer makes choices to build create, read, update, delete, list, and actor SQL statements and data access layer ColdFusion functions.
