The Ensemble project is a UK ESRC/EPSRC research project led from the Centre for Applied Research into Educational Technologies at the University of Cambridge (http://www.caret.cam.ac.uk). It will develop and evaluate Semantic Web tools for use in Higher Education.
It is using the tools developed by the SIMILE project at MIT (http://mit.simile.edu) as its starting point for an expansive network of resources, teachers and learners.
It is also developing the Fedora Digital Repository Architecture to support teaching, learning and research activities by linking it into semantic web applications.
