A methodical implementation of the ECMAScript for XML (E4X) Specification 357, using native support where possible in order to increase performance.
xbe4x does not support syntactical E4X, and therefore has limitations that cannot be overcome do to compliance with the specification.
Ready for testing
xbe4x is now ready for more serious testing, the majority of the methods have been compared to the results of the same method call in Firefox. This resulted in some changes that do not meet the specification, but compliance with Firefox is found to be more important.
