Cloud-enabled automatic interactive testing suite
"Russian Salad" is a testing suite for automated acceptance testing. It is focused on UI-related tests including smoke and regression tests for fairly complicated projects. Key Russian Salad features are:
UI tests are executed in unattended mode.
Screencasts of tests are recorded and available in test report browser.
All cloud-related issues, including deployment, remote execution and results retrieval are resolved by the tools included. That allows to run long UI tests in parallel without costs increase.
After Russian Salad is set up, it almost does not require experienced engineers attention.
Programming skills are not required from test scenario writers.
Only open source and freeware components are used.
Most of the included tools are cross-platform.
Like real Russian salad, it consists of numerous components.
