SACMI, or the Self-Amending Characterized Machine Intelligence, is the base of a grand plan for a full AI, interacting with the Internet and users. SACMI"s goal is to make things easier for users and provide a unified way of dealing with multiple sources of information. As an example, when you start using SACMI (sometime in the future, when all this is implemented), it will watch info coming from a music player like Songbird, and take a few of your most-liked tracks, and use Last.fm or Pandora to find similar music. You will be able to have a humanlike conversation with SACMI, during which it will learn from you about various subjects. This information will be uploaded to a central server, so that all incarnations of SACMI on various systems will have access to it.
