Tired of starting new projects with blank CSS or clearing out files from past project? Well I was so I decided to write an application to speed up CSS setup.
Initially I developed a CSS setup application that was flexible enough to work for our in-house CMS. After some experimentation I’ve expanded the application to create a CSS framework of sorts. This gives me the ability to have a consistent approach to CSS. As I learn or get feedback I update the application.
The application runs locally but check this site for updates. This way anyone using it gets the benefits of new additions. Developers working on projects where CSS has been deployed from this apllication now benefit from consistency. This has lead to a greater understanding of and quality in CSS.
I welcome any feedback.
Note: the web installer only works in IE. This is a Microsoft issue to do with one click applications in non IE browsers. Its not perfect but it helps me share my idea.
