Open Data Tool is a collection of tools and utilities to ease daily data preparation with the Salesforce.com CRM system. The following features are currently under development:
Process XML -files from Dun&Bradstreet into CSV that can be imported into Salesforce.com as Leads
The lead data file from D&B is structured to contain several person contacts on a single line. In Salesforce, a Lead is not supposed to have more than one contacts. The toolkit allows one to select the contact roles that are interesting and then import them as separate leads. The toolkit also provides many useful options for making data more ready for mailings etc.
This feature exists and is stable.
Generate Discrepancy File
This process will take two CSV -files, A and B, and generate a third CSV on the lines that are on file A but are not on file B. This can be useful when preparing large data imports and want to save time by not trying to import
