_Drive Snapshot_ (DS) is a popular proprietary Windows disk image backup and disaster recovery software.
DS provides a simple and practical GUI for manual imaging and restoring of disk partitions. Users who want to schedule backup jobs are provided with a comprehensive command-line interface.
The drive-snapshot-automation (DSA) open source project is a self-help initiative of users of Drive Snapshot.
This project presents practical windows batch files that users of Drive Snapshot can use either as they are, or as startup code to automate their DS backups using a scheduler.
Current Project Status
02-Apr-2015: DSA is moving out of alpha stage. A first stable release is to take place in April 2015.
