This project is a system designed to allow people to trade books. It was started as a class project for a course at Penn State in the College of Information Sciences and Technology.
The project will deliver a deployable site that will allow users to log in, note the books they have (and are willing to trade) and the books they want to trade them for.
The system will feature a batch-driven search process that will create Trade Routes. These Trade Routes will start connect two or more users in a series of trades that will result in each person in the process sending and receiving one book. Once all users in the Trade Route agree to the trade, the exchanges can happen.
There is also a component for notification via email, RSS, and on the website itself.
