K-3D is the free-as-in-freedom 3D modeling, animation and rendering system for GNU/Linux, MacOSX, and Windows operating systems, created by Timothy M. Shead. The project switched to the Mercurial distributed version control system, and this project hosts the branch of developer Bart Janssens. See http://www.k-3d.org for the central project homepage.
