volchecker
This application checks the audio volume / output level of PulseAudio on both in and output chanels.
If the level gets above a predefined threshold an on_script is executed.
If the level gets below the threshold for some time (2 min) the off_script is executed.
Threshold is between 0.000-1.000
Usage: volchecker on_script off_script threshold
Example: volchecker /home/me/on.sh /home/me/off.sh 0.002
The on.sh off.sh scripts contain the actions to perform on trigger on/off
System Requirements
Linux-based or FreeBSD operating systems
PulseAudio sound server
