Overview
Pkill is a simple, GUI based process killer/viewer for Unix-like systems. It provides a list of running processes, with an option to specify the kind of signal you wish to use to terminate the concerning process.
Other functionalities include view own/all processes and filtering/searching processes.
Platforms
Support for BSD, (Open)Solaris and Mac OS X (although not Snow Leopard) included in latest version.
Additional information
Please note that pkill requires Perl and Perl/Tk. Mac OS X users must install the X-Window system (part of the Xcode tools)
