iMDB-ID-Fetcher
Writes an NFO alongside media files with the corresponding iMDB URL
It pretty much does what it says on the tin.
Currently in development (as of January 2012), expect more documentation to follow. Suffice to say that for each media file it finds, it will look at the parent directory and if it matches a Regex pattern, it will then use that directory to identify the corresponding iMDB URL.
It"s intended use is to work alongside movie cataloging programs like YAJM; more accurately identifying the corresponding iMDB URL and saving it to a file which can then be read by the movie cataloging program.
Pros:
Compatible with multi-folder split movies (CD1, CD2, etc.)
Automatically detects 95% of titles (and consequently, iMDB URLs)
Interactive mode: prompts the user for input if unsure
EasyUI: can generate an html page with query links to speed up interactive mode
