Here I Am is an open source screen reader project based on a set of new design concepts and fueled by a philosophy that accessibility should be free.
The Here I Am project seeks to address several shortcomings of current screen reading technology, namely complexity, unreliability, and, most importantly, cost.
This screen reader also focuses on improving communication for the visually impaired. The underlying framework promotes standards compliance by allowing the user to interact with complex content in new ways.
