This project now has an official website! http://www.openreefs.com/ All information has been moved there and code is now hosted at github. Using open source technology this project aims to produce an aquarium monitor and controller for reef aquariums. It could also be used for any other body of water that may need real time monitoring and automated control. There are advanced subscription based features that allow greater functionality such as web based remote control of the system, sms and email alerts and more. There will be links to those features within this site. The goal is to provide the community an open source alternative to the expensive options currently available for automated continuous monitoring and control of their reef tank.
