Freeway is the Open-Source eCommerce platform. Use the built-in functionality of Freeway and extend it in accordance with your project requirements. It"s modular architecture enables modifying and extending default functionality without any changes in mainstream source code. There are many ways you can help build the Freeway project.

The goal of this project is to build an API that operates consistently with Freeway through the Web Service interface using SOAP/WSDL.
The freeway-webservice will provide it"s own web service interface however it should only operate on the freeway application in accordance with the established freeway configuration. This includes but is not limited to authentication, transactions, and connectivity.
The freeway-webservice will attempt to establish a set of classes for use as an API. No backend functionality will be provided initially only functions to display inventory and complete transactions
