Motivation
When users select "Always ask me where to save" in Tools/Options, Firefox will ask the users where they want to save the file whenever they perform a download. After downloading starts, the chosen directory will be kept in the Firefox preferences, and this directory will be automatically chosen for the next download when prompted to save.
However, if the user always saves files in specific directories according to their extensions, Firefox’s Save preference is not convenient. For example, the user might prefer to always save MP3 files and torrent files in their own separate directories.
Additionally, the user may want to save any files that are downloaded from particular websites in particular directories. For example, a user may want to save all files downloaded from www.sun.com in C:Sun Product. Unfortunately, Firefox does not provide this functionality by default.
