A distributed configuration, state and event repository
Cfmap is a distributed, fault tolerant, configuration, service, status notification/discovery engine which is designed for rapidly growing infrastruture/services needs. Built over cassandra, Cfmap provides an eventually consistent model of state repository which is ideal for multi-datacenter setup.
Cfmap components
State/Event notification APIs - It provides a set of APIs and guidelines which could be used to log any kind of event tied to any kind uniquely identifiable resource
While cfmap encourages one to write their own "agents", it comes with an agent /bin/cfquery.pl already which could be used to publish linux server stats to cfmap.
State/Event search APIs - It provides a set of APIs, Widgets and dashboards to search and generate reports from these
