As an important regulator of post-transcriptional gene silencing, microRNA (miRNA) plays a critical role in various biological functions by binding to the untranslated regions (UTRs) of protein-coding genes. Recently, more and more disease-associated 3′ UTR variants in genes, e.g. SLITRK1 and AGTR1, have been reported to cause the gain and loss events (GLEs) of miRNA-target interaction. Considering the large miRNA reservoir, it is a tedious task for biologists to quickly identify the potential changes of miRNA-target interaction, i.e. GLEs, which are caused by target gene mutation by using existing miRNA-target gene prediction tools. Here, we have developed a user-friendly web server called miGLE for identifying the GLEs. Since the relationships between pathogenic mutations and miRNA-target interactions have implications for better understanding the mechanism of complex diseases, our server can be an effective tool to facilitate data mining in clinical genomics, especially provide u
