NetScheduler is a web application that will help customers schedule appointments with a group of service providers. The system stores contact and scheduling information for both customers and service providers. It allows customers to choose and schedule an appointment with a specific service provider, and allows service providers to specify times that they are available for appointments, and to confirm/accept any appointments requested by a customer.
NetScheduler provides a customizable base application that administrators can tailor to the specific needs of their organization. A default set of information fields are available for storing data about customers and service providers, but administrators can modify this set as needed through a web-based interface. As an example of the capabilities of NetScheduler, a patient/doctor appointment scheduling system will be implemented using this application.
