Description
WTF Party (We’re there for the party) is a geographical information system for the college social life. It solves the problem of finding the locations of college apartments which often lack traditional street addresses and are hard to find in large maze-like complexes. A primary function of the application is to find the geographic coordinates of an apartment given a wide variety of possible input strings. The application takes the phone’s current GPS location into account when deciding on the most probably correct interpretation of the user’s input. For example, the input of just an apartment number would search for that number in the apartment complex closest to the current location.
