Phidgets Control GUI. This is a graphical program for controlling Phidgets robotics components (servos, ect.). It supports control directly through the GUI or through a head-mounted motion tracking system. The program communicates with a Phidgets control board (www.phidgets.com). It supports multiple servos and can be easily extended to support other devices.
You are free to use this code as the foundation for your own project according to the GPLv2 license.
Original use: This program was the software part of a university project whose purpose was to remotely operate a radioactive "hot cell" robot. The X and Y servos of the robot (look left/right and up/down) are operated using a head-mounted motion-tracking system. An additional servo, Y, was used to adjust camera relative angles based on object distance, simulating depth perception using an HMD with dual independent displays.
