These LaTeX notes are a synthesis of lectures given at UW-Madison. They do not correspond exactly to the content of the courses. We express the concepts in our own words, and sometimes insert, remove, or rearrange topics.
We are currently writing notes for Math 741, the first-semester graduate algebra course. They are based on the Fall 2009 semester, taught by Professor Donald Passman.
