What is dspchip
ChIP-seq has become a very useful approach to thoroughly characterize genomic features on genome-wide scale. There are many valuable tools to analyze ChIP-seq experiments, but we wanted to implement a new approach for this kind of analysis.
Essentially we look at ChIP-seq data as digital signals, hence we apply a digital signal processing (DSP) approach to those data.
You may think at dspchip as a telescope for ChIP-seq, meaning a tools to look at huge features (in contrast to other peak finding approaches which look at small-focused features)
