Set of programs to map Cherokee to English and to support machine translation of English into the Cherokee Language. Most of the tools also perform word synthesis. The project is very limited at present and needs a lot more work. The code also will translate entire wikipedia dumps and allow these dumps to be imported into a MediaWiki installation. Full sentence synthesis is not completed and requires a lot more work.
The tools run under Linux and Windows. This code is released for use by anyone wanting to complile a Cherokee language reference and to machine translate words into cherokee rapidly. English does not translate perfectly to Cherokee.
At any rate, this is the fist pass. I am currently working on a sentence synthsizer for creating complex Cherokee verbs. Best results use the translation tools for creating a full machine translation of Wikipedia.
