This is a program which computes the Riemann sums and trapezoid rule sums of an expression over a given interval with a given number of steps. It is used for the estimation of the area under a curve, or the integral. It calculates mram, lram, rram, and trap, as known on other graphing calculators. These can be used on 68k graphing calculators including the ti89. This program is written in C, and was developed with the KTIGCC IDE. It can be compiled using KTIGCC or using the standalone TIGCC compiler.
Running this program on your calculator
Download the main project (ramblib.tar.gz). Inside, you will find ramlib.89z. This is the program for your calculator. You can use TiLp or a similar program to transfer this to your calculator.
Once it is on your calculator, the function ramlib() will now provide the functionality of this program. The function ramlib takes the following arguments:
