P-Lock is a simple password manager for Windows. It does the basic things you would expect from a password manager: generate passwords, copy them to the clipboard, and encrypt them with a master password. It also has a particularly useful feature which I couldn"t find in any other free password management software: the ability to copy itself and its password database to a removable drive, so that passwords can be easily taken to another machine and used there. Most other tools have a method to install themselves on a removable drive and operate from there (P-Lock has an option to do this as well), but I wanted my primary password database on my main computer so that it could be more easily backed up and less prone to being lost. The default setting when syncing to a removable drive in P-Lock is to create a read-only "slave" copy of the passwords. P-Lock will also write a perl script to the removable drive which allows you to recover passwords in the event that you do
