abcd-ni attempts to make getting Cygwin installed on your system less of a frustrating experience by making the download process more robust and less hands-on. abcd-ni automatically makes use of all Cygwin download mirrors in a given region, verifies the MD5 hash of each package file as it is downloaded, and automatically retries downloads until they are successful. abcd-ni only downloads those package files that are missing or that have MD5 hash mismatches, so interrupting and resuming of the download process is supported seamlessly.
