Managing a couple of text files on one Excel worksheet makes it easy to keep them in sync and have benefits like editing and navigating at cell level, sorting and highlighting.
I first stumbled upon this scenario when I collected rather exotic keyboard settings for an arcade emulator and other software that needed the same keybindings. Suddenly it was obvious that my life would be a whole lot easier if I could export these settings from Excel to separate files. Apparently such a tool did not exit therefore I decided to write it: csv2conf extracts multiple configuration files (.ini, .rc, .conf,...) from a single Excel or Calc CSV (comma-separated values) file via embedded syntax.
