This project aims to develop an opensource software for use with multitouch surfaces and external MIDI/OSC devices.
Similar to the jazzmutant lemur, the goal of this project is to allow the user to create virtual "scenes" containing various input styles for controlling note and control data such as: sequencers, keys, sliders, knobs, XY areas, and even more unorthodox methods such as bouncing balls and other input objects with physics.
Information is sent via OSC to a max patch opened on the host CPU. Max will convert incoming note packets into MIDI or OSC output information for controlling whatever application. Additionally, users can store, modify and upload information about each "scene" on the controller from within max.
The visual component of the software is currently being written is vvvv and the max component still needs to be put together.
