This set of tools will let you monitor data about your hardrives usage, log them if asked for, and process - generate graphs from the log file. The result should be easy-to-understand graphs that shuld give you good understanding how much are your drives utilized, if you have more than one you will be able to compare them. And generaly you will be able to say if the disks are the bottleneck of your system or not. Why another tool? Well iostat is very good tool, it just provide to much info that is hard to interpret for common peoples. Moreover my tools will help you generate graphs. That all without much work expected from you and withouth studying boring manuals.
