The solar decathlon is a competition consisting of 20 collegiate teams designing and building the most efficient solar powered home. For the 2011 competition, a team from the University of Hawaii was invited to join the competition. Team Hawaii 2011
This project is intended to be an interface design to control the computerized functions of the solar powered home. The interface is web based, and aims to be accessible from multiple consoles in the home, as well as offering certain functions to be controlled remotely over the internet.
Our design is meant to be simple to use, efficient, and without clutter. This allows the user to enjoy a hassle-free experience in maintaining their home
