University of Cincinnati (UC) currently offers a free Nightwalk service that is a volunteer-based program. Unfortunately, the numbers of volunteers are decreasing each year while the demands for the service is skyrocketing. The current nightwalk service can benefit from a new mobile application. Using GPS and timed response update, the Nightwalk Buddy can act like a portable alarm system.
