KyUI (pronounced KYOO-ee) is a loose collection of widgets to keep Qt developers from "rolling-their-own" common interface components when developing new applications. Qt includes the power to build flexible interfaces, but doesn"t restrain the developer with template solutions to problems. KyUI bridges this gap with working--but readily modifiable--UI components, such as font settings and preview widgets for toolbars and dialogs, a class to catch and display an entered key combination/hotkey and accompanying widgets for modifying/saving QKeyShortcuts with actions, and numerous proof-of-concepts to provide ideas and possible solutions for developers. All of these widgets have example dialogs containing the widget to display its functionality.
There are numerous prototype, work-in-progress, and proof-of-concept widgets that developers can adapt code or ideas from to jumpstart their own work. This includes QDesigner .ui files, screenshots of similar solutions in comm
