xxxchat is an Ajax-based gmail-style chat framework.
It was initially started as a hobby project, but I intend to release it as a framework for websites.

Current plans for this project include:
* modifying the code to use JSON for data-interchange instead of just sending mark-up
* adding support for jabber/xmpp
* adding support for video/audio chat :)
