SandTablist help developers create architecture-based management tools for running software systems. Like a sand table in military use, the obtained management tools provide architectural level models for system administrators as reflections of the current system states, and administrators can manipulate the system by editing this architectural model. SandTablist employs a series of model driven techniques, including MOF and QVT, and makes the work of creating such architecture-based management tools productive, clear and stable. We have four case studies until now, which are C2JOnAS, SimpleSWT, CSPLASTIC and CSJOnAS.
