This project is a part of an event called "Appening", held during 18-19 of march at Mid Sweden University"s campus in Sundsvall. The event promotes innovative ad open usage of Swedish governmental data, especially in mobile applications.
In detail, this application provides a widget for locating historical locations nearby the user in pervasive manner. The application can also be opened for a longer list of nearby locations, in addition to receiving further information about the object. Further features include: Map view for finding the location, community based recommendation system, and Text To Speech aid for assistance.
Furthermore, the project is licensed under the GNU GPL v3 license and have been developed on this Google code page since the beginning of the event.
