Goals:
This project is posted here for the benefit of the community to support interoperability for emergency messages. The product is a EAS-CAP validator that is current with the latest version of the available profile. It is based on the product published by the EAS-CAP Industry Group at http://www.eas-cap.org/profile.htm.
To keep this useful for the EAS-CAP community, any member of the public, including industry and government agencies, is welcome to use the code provided and contribute using the open source development and project management tools available on this site.
What is EAS-CAP Validator?
EAS-CAP Validator takes a CAP XML message and ensures it :
meets CAP 1.1 conformance rules.
has the minimum set of CAP required elements.
meets EAS-CAP version 0.1 conformance rules which EAS-CAP Industry Group had defined on 9-25-2008.
