MageComet is a web application created for curation of MAGE-TAB files. This tool combines text-mining components with Experimental Factor Ontology(EFO) to create a semi-automatic environment for faster annotation.
MageComet is an integrated tool composed of guided data manipulation and content summarization features that help set the context for curation. Through the use of tag clouds, curators can gain an "at a glance look" to see what an experiment describes, or to see what components require additional attention.
In addition the application also provides data validation assets that help ensure consistent annotation and conformation to specifications.
