Like other content management systems such as Drupal, Joomla and Wordpress, CimpleCMS assists in the production of highly extensible, easily maintainable web applications. It provides a user authentication system that accessible via both REST and HTTP, an XML-based logging system, a database manager (mySQL), an email manager, a highly extensible node system for content management and an object oriented templating system. The system is entirely object oriented and can be quickly extended through the integration of new object oriented modules. CimpleCMS is still not entirely stable, so please refrain from using it in production environments.
