Linked Facts is an ontology-driven software and methodology for representing and querying facts and events. It enables to create detailed definitions of classification or reporting criteria by writing simple sentences like:
"Medical procedure" and "occurs between 3 and 5 days before" some ("Medical procedure" and "medical procedure ICD9 code" value "100.0")
"Purchase" and "product EAN code" value "1234567" and "occurs max 3 days after" some ("Purchase" and "product EAN code" value "7654321") and "occurs simultaneosly with" min 3 ("Purchase" and "product EAN code" value "1234567")
The definitions are stored in an OWL file which itself can be used for performing analysis of the introduced categories and definitions becoming a powerful, executable knowledge base.
