UniCarb-DB is an Australian and Swedish funded initiative, which builds on the success of the EU supported EUROCarbDB project, to create software, databases and standards for the collection of carbohydrate structures and their experimental data.
The project comprises the following:
The database of carbohydrate structures and experimental data, initially mass-spectrometry, HPLC and NMR data, with well-defined extension points for other techniques. These offerings have been extended to included data upload workflows that support the submission of mass spectrometry data collections from analytical researchers.
The web application UI to the database, which allows browsing, searching and contribution of structures and data to the database.
