HL-box is a simple javascript (2,6 KB) that highlights parts of your content in a page, darkening with an overlay all the rest. In the standard version it integrates code from Slimbox javascript by Christofe Beyls, very useful to nicely showcase your images. other 2 versions are available: HL-box st: If you are already using Slimbox or another js to showcase your images, you can get the more compact stand alone release. HL-box Joomla 1.5 plugin Do you use Joomla 1.5.x? I provide a plugin ready to be installed. It has a lot of parameters you can easily manage to simplify your work.
