Brain-Computer Interaction with NIA
Project Description
We made a project that takes input from the NIA device. The device is supposed to read EEG signals from a user"s brain. Facial movements seem to be a very reliable trigger for the signals to the device.
Our project itself is an an automatic side scrolling platform game. This game is used to better train the player on how to use an NIA device by testing the player"s reflexes and ability to consistently have the NIA device pick-up his/her facial expressions. As the player progresses farther in the level, the obstacles will get harder. The system will take into consideration how well the user is doing when changing the difficulty of the obstacles, improving on the player"s interaction with the NIA device.
The platform generating code itself is a form of AI. The intensity of the game goes up and down as time goes by. This creates moments of fast paced action with a lull of calm in betwee
