Hydroplate Sim simulates the orbital mechanics of an asteroid being blasted off Earth. Creationist Walt Brown claims that the asteroid belt was created by rocks blasted off of earth when the "Fountains of the Deep" erupted during the biblical flood. The goal of this application is to demonstrate the way orbits behave in an easily accessible manner.
